DESCRIPTION:WHO SHOULD ATTEND THIS WEBINAR?\n\nAnyone who works in a professional care role or supports people\nthrough all forms of loss and grief. Our content is applicable to a\nwide variety of professions including counsellors, social workers,\nteachers, emergency response teams, medical, corrections, mental\nhealth, hospice, volunteers, caregivers and more. \n\nOVERVIEW\n\nAssisted dying is the latest addition to NZ health services with\nimplications for service users, their families, and health\nprofessionals.\n\nThe grief and bereavement experience of family and friends who have\nlost a loved one with assisted death is poorly understood worldwide.\nWith some community members and the societal environment expressing\nstrong views about assisted death, some families may hesitate to\ndisclose the manner of death, thus complicating the grief and\nbereavement outcomes.
